So, we found a house

We fell in love with a neighborhood called Fountain Square

This house, built in 1890, is right in the middle of everything.

It is a complete and total, gutted, renovation — it has to be — as evidenced by the fire damage posted in a separate listing approximately 3 months ago.

Yes, those are flames.

Somehow in 3 months — the renovators turned that… into this!

As you may guess — this is my favorite room. 10 foot ceilings too.

We had some top notch inspectors who alerted us to a dud house a month or so ago, they confirmed that this renovation was much more on the up and up.  All the same they did generate a laundry list of very minor repairs.  You’re not an inspector if you don’t find something wrong.

Closing is scheduled for February 8th!

Enzo (and I) will be thrilled to move.  He’s going a little stir-crazy in our 500 sq ft apartment.

Charles has been down in Daytona, preparing for the 24 on January 26 – 27th.  It’s going to be 3 degrees outside tomorrow in Indianapolis.  [edited to add that the windchill is taking that 3 down to -19!!] Charles will enjoy a high of 78.

I would say it isn’t fair, except Charles really does enjoy the cold so he would rather be here.
